In my early days of grief I needed HOPE. I needed to see that other families, other moms, could survive the unfathomable loss of their child. I was blessed to connect with a local mom who ultimately offered me HOPE. I also found a community of women online that supported and guided me throughout this lifelong journey. If you're looking for the same or just some understanding, let me be that person for you.
ABOUT ME
My name is Amie...
I am a wife, mama, teacher, founder of The Ruthie Lou Foundation and a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist®. My most sacred role is being mama to three my beautiful children,Ruthie Lou, Reid & Adam. I love this life yet will always miss the old one. |
I wasn't always a writer, my daughter inspired a love of the written word within me. Since her birth I have written regularly and looked for the appropriate platform to do so. Life feels to have been chunked in 3 separate times; Ruthie Lou's life, my "rainbow" pregnancies with her brothers and now, our current life. Even in my blogs, I couldn't combine those writings altogether.
Here are the links to our life since the birth of Ruthie Lou:
